The opioid overdose crisis continues to have a devastating effect on individuals, families
and communities across the country, taking the life of a Canadian every two hours. The Government of Canada is taking a compassionate, comprehensive, collaborative and evidence-based approach to address the opioid crisis. This includes ensuring the widespread availability of naloxone and opioid overdose response training to help reduce opioid-related overdoses and deaths in Canadian workplaces and communities.
